West Sussex - Arundel Sightseeing

Unfortunately the Arundel Castle was still closed for winter when we were there so we could only look from outside. That is fine though as we will seee sooooo many castles in UK and Europe that we can't go into all of them. We are happy to appreciate a lot of them from the outside. This is the bottom gate entrance. The original castle was founded in 1067 by the Earl of Arundel, one of William the Conquerer's most loyal barons.
